Carmen Ciccotti is coming back to Alaska this spring to teach another round
of Acutonics intensives May 9-11 and May 16-18. We will be hosting a Level 1
and 2. Anyone interested in using Sound Therapy for clinical or personal
application is encouraged to take part! No experience is nessecery for level
1 participants. This time around we will be hosting the classes with the
option of "retreating" at Yoga in The Valley just outside of Palmer. Staying
at Yoga in the Valley is optional, but highly recommended! The retreat is
situated on 80 acres of beautiful property on Palmer-Fishhook Road.
Accommodations are more than reasonable, with camping options, as well as
in-door spaces to sleep, cook, shower and integrate after a harmonic days of
learning! Students are responsible for meals and snacks for the duration of
the class. Those of you who could not make it last time...here's your
chance! This is the perfect spring getaway to tune up before summer's full
swing and learn everything you ever wanted to know about the science of
sound and how it can transform our bodies down the DNA.
For the last thirty years Carmen Ciccotti has focused on being a teacher,
student, musician, body worker, outstanding community member and mother. She
applies her healing arts with a strong emphasis on Five Element Theory, Zen
shiatsu, Nutritional Consultation and the Energy Systems of the body.
Level 1: Sound Gates to Inner Harmonics
Participants explore the philosophy, cosmology, scientific and esoteric
roots of Sound healing and it's connection to traditional Chinese Medicine.
A wide variety of Physical, Psychological, and Spiritual imbalances can be
transformed through the application of tuning forks on the body. Treatment
protocols will be presented for personal use as well as an adjunct therapy
to compliment other modalities.
Level 2: Higher Harmonics and the Inner Nature of Tone
This class builds on Level 1 teachings and deepens our knowledge of energy
diagnostics that focus on the synthesis of individual and universal
attunement. Participants learn to work in between the physical and
non-physical energies of the body, integrating the low, middle and high
frequency tuning forks. Students will begin to learn about accessing more
subtle states of awareness for deep transformation of the physical form.
Students will expand their knowledge while exploring other sound healing
tools, including tibetan Bowls, bells, drums, rattles and the didgeridoo.
